 \n\nThis is a two-day “train-the-trainer” workshop on the Four Cornerstone
 s of Financial Literacy curriculum and the learning circle method\, a tech
 nique that builds upon the life experiences of participants.  Training par
 ticipants will learn the technical financial information included in the c
 urriculum\, and gain skills in facilitating training and group sessions fo
 r people with low incomes. \n\nBecause training relies heavily on attendee
  participation and interactive exercises\, participants must attend both t
 raining days.  Participants will receive the Four Cornerstones curriculum\
 , which can be integrated into financial literacy education and self-suffi
 ciency services that their agencies provide.  Attendees will be asked to p
 articipate in evaluation efforts to measure the usefulness and effectivene
 ss of the training.\n\nThe two-day training will be held April 9\, 2019 fr
 om 9:30 am - 5:00 pm and April 10\, 2019 from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm at the Com
 fort Inn in Bismarck\, ND. \n\nAn application for social work CEUS has bee
 n submitted to the North Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners and is wait
 ing for approval.
