  • Statewide Outreach Coordinator

    Community Action Partnership of North Dakota has an opening for a full-time Statewide Outreach Coordinator. Responsible for providing timely and professional outreach to potential clients to participate in Community Action Programs, including COVID-related services such as Rental Assistance and Housing Facilitation. Duties also include providing training and technical assistance to member agencies, ensuring streamlined communication, and assisting with grant management.

    Position requires a four-year degree in a human services, public administration, education, or related field. Three-five years experience in the Human Service field along with knowledge of Federal grants management, budget oversight, and program administration are required. Rental assistance experience preferred. Excellent computer and communication skills are a must.

    This position requires extensive travel.

  • Executive Director, RRVCA

    Red River Valley Community Action (RRVCA) is accepting applications for an Executive Director. RRVCA is a public non-profit, community action agency serving Grand Forks, Walsh, Pembina and Nelson counties in North Dakota, with its main office in Grand Forks, ND. The Executive Director administers the overall activities, including a $3,000,000-plus budget in service to low-income and elderly residents of the four-county area.

    The position is responsible for overall leadership and agency administration, contract management, grant writing, development of new initiatives, overall supervision of personnel and fiscal activities, and the understanding and implementation of evidenced based practices. Applicants must have knowledge of state, federal, and non-profit funding resources, regulatory issues, and reporting requirements.

    Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University with course work in business, public administration, human services, education, or a related field. A Master’s degree in such a field is preferred. The candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing administrative, management, planning, and development activities, including a proven leadership initiative. Must have direct experience in organizational and program development, and implementation of Anti-Poverty strategies necessary to ensure that Red River Valley Community Action is achieving its mission “to help low-income families and individuals achieve economic self-sufficiency through provision of programs, services and community building.”
