  • Community Action Program's Self Sufficiency program is currently seeking a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW) to provide timely and professional case management in assisting clients to become economically self-sufficient. The Self Reliance Case Manager will oversee and provide support to programmatic services including emergency services. Must be organized and be able to multi-task working with various programs.

    Competitive wage: $40,451.00 - $50,225.61 DOE

    Job duties include but not limited to:
    *Oversee and provide support to the programmatic services and programs to include emergency services.
    *Provide timely and professional assistance to clients using a case management approach.
    *Assisting clients to become economically self-sufficient.
    *Work together and communicating with other employees as a team.
    *Must be organized and able to multi-task working with various programs.

  • Community Action is Bismarck is seeking to hire a couple of qualified candidates to work on our Weatherization crew!

    Community Action Weatherization crew takes pride in making homes more energy efficient for low-income families in our community. You will work closely with clients and their homes ensuring all materials are properly installed and in a safe manner under the supervision of a crew foremen. This is a full-time position, and we work year-round.

    Job hours are Monday through Thursday 7am - 5:30pm which means you will have Fridays off including the weekends.
    Excellent benefits package
    $18.50/hour starting and a raise after 3 months

    Job duties include, but not limited to:
    *Installing doors and windows.
    *Insulating walls, attics, and trailer home bellies.
    *Installing dryer vents and ventilation fans.

    Must be able to do the following:
    *Read a tape measure.
    *Have some prior experience with hand tools and power tools.
    *Work individually and with a team
